IPL 2016: A look at past champions as first match of season 9 kicks-off

New Delhi: The season nine of Indian Premier League will hope to bring more fervour and excitement amongst fans all around the world.

Since the advent of IPL in 2008, a lot has happened and this season two new teams have made their entry after replacing the suspended Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals respectively.

Will we find a new team winning this year? This will be an interesting factor to watch out for. Or will Mumbai Indians win a third title in five years?

Rising Pune Supergiants and Gujarat Lions are the two new teams led by MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina respectively.
