IPL 2016 final: Sachin Baby starts crying at non-striker's end with RCB needing 13 off last ball

New Delhi: SunRisers Hyderabad on Sunday won their maiden Indian Premier League title with an eight-run over Royal Challengers Bangalore.

The SRH bowlers led their team's fight back after Chris Gayle and Virat Kohli got RCB off to a flying start.

The match went down to the wire as the likes of Stuart Binny and Sachin Baby kept RCB in the hunt with timely big hits.

But SRH bowlers, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mustafizur Rahman in particular, executed their death bowling plans to perfection to snatch the game away from the home side.

A rather rare moment was witnessed in the dying minutes of the match. Baby was on strike with 14 runs needed off the last 2 balls.

Bhuvi however made no mistake, bowling full outside off. The left-hander could only manage a single down to third man.

With defeat almost certain, Baby broke down as soon as he reached the non-striker's end.

Cricketers usually hide their emotions in defeat. But on this occasion, the 27-year-old just could not hold back.

It also gave a sense of what the competition and a win means to players who put their heart and soul in training each day.

Cricket fans too got emotional when they witnessed this side of Baby.
