Gautam Gambhir and his boys would be keen on putting a good show against Kings XI Punjab, who would be high on confidence after winning their first match of the season in their previous outing in the tournament.
KKR have had a mixed season so far, where after winning first match against Delhi Daredevils, they suffered a six-wicket defeat against Mumbai Indians. KKR bounced back in the next match where they comprehensively defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 8 wickets.
Gambhir has led from the front by slamming two half-centuries in three matches for his team.
KXIP, on the other hand, won their first match of the season against Rising Pune Supergiants after being defeated by Gujarat Lions and Delhi Daredevils in consecutive matches.
Maxwell found some form for the Punjab franchise against Pune and the pressure is on skipper David Miller, who has scored just 31 runs from three matches so far.
