New Delhi: After having a forgettable start to the 9th season of the IPL, defending champions Mumbai Indians are set to play their fifth game against Royal Challengers Bangalore at Wankhede Stadium on Wednesday.

After losing three out of their first four games, Mumbai team seems like an unsettled unit.

Injuries to premier players in Lasith Malinga and Lendl Simmons at the start of the season have added skipper Rohit Sharma's woes.

But in today's tie, MI can take heart from the fact that big-hitter of RCB Chris Gayle is not playing the game.

But Virat Kohli-led RCB still has number of power hitters in the side, who can single-handedly change the course of the game.

Here are the players who could emerge as game changers in today's tie.

Virat Kohli: He has going through a purple patch with the willow in the slam bang version of the game. His back-to-back 70 plus scores in last four innings of T20 prove that he is a real threat to Mumbai bowlers in the match.

Jasprit Bumrah: His rise as an outstanding bowler has surprised many. His consistency and control over the ball has made him a crucial cog of Mumbai Indians franchise. From bowling toe crushing yorkers to use slower ones with good effect give him an edge in the shortest format.

AB de Villiers: The superman can change the dynamics at any stage of the game. His ability to play according to the situation makes him a dangerous batsman. Most of the times his hitting prowess makes the bowlers look ordinary. Once he gets his eyes in, it's difficult to stop him from scoring briskly.

Rohit Sharma: Mumbai Indians skipper has been going through a patchy form. Barring his unbeaten 84 against KKR, he didn't manage to reach the two figure mark in rest of the three matches. Now it's time for him to once again lead his side by example in a high-profile clash against RCB.
