Bangalore: Zaheer Khan-led Delhi Daredevils stunned star-studded Royal Challengers Bangalore by seven wickets in Match 11 of the Indian Premier League at M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Sunday.

Chasing a formidable total of 191 runs, Daredevils opener Quinton de Kock (108) slammed the first century of the season which proved to be too hot to handle for Virat Kohli and his men.

De Kock was dismissed in the 19th over of the innings and he was well supported by Karun Nair, who remained unbeaten at the score of 54.

Nair and de Kock stitched 134 runs for the third-wicket partnership after losing the wickets of Shreyas Iyer and Samju Samson in the first and the sixth overs respectively.

Earlier, batting first, RCB lost the wicket of Gayle in the first over where he was dismissed by Zaheer Khan. But after that loss, Virat Kohli (79) and AB de Villiers (55) added 107 runs for the second wicket, and while they were batting, a target above 200 runs looked quite possible.

But once these two were dismissed, DD bounced back in the last few overs to restrict RCB to 191 runs.
