IPL 2016: Superman AB de Villiers does it again, takes RCB into final with incredible 79-run knock vs GL

New Delhi: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) batsman AB de Villiers single-handedly took his side into the final of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2016 with a brilliant 47-ball 79.

RCB was in dire straits at one stage having lost six wickets for just 68 runs, but he found a great partner in Iqbal Abdullah, as the duo stitched an unbeaten 91-run stand for the seventh-wicket partnership which proved to be decisive.

Despite having lost too many wickets, AB continued to find boundaries frequently, while Abdullah made his job earlier with a flurry of boundary towards the end.

Bangalore have reached yet another final and with the kind of form their players are in, it will take something special from others teams to stop them from winning their maiden title this year.

AB's knock was also hailed by Virat Kohli on Twitter.
