IPL 9, Eliminator: Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Kolkata Knight Riders – Players to watch out for

New Delhi: In the ninth edition of Indian Premier League (IPL), Sunrisers Hyderabad face Kolkata Knight Riders today in a do-or-die clash at Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi.

It's going to be a cracker of a match on the slow and low track of Kotla.

Going into the match, Gautam Gambhir-led KKR are looking solid on papers. But the way Hyderabad have played this season, they are expected to give a tough fight to two-time champions.

Spinners are expected to play a key role in today's encounter, which means KKR would be having an upper hand as they have premier spinners in Shakib Al Hasan, Piyush Chawla and Sunil Narine at their disposal.

Let's have a look at the players who could play crucial role in the Eliminator tonight.

David Warner: With 658 runs in 14 matches, Warner is among the leading run scorers in IPL9. He has given his side solid starts up front on many occasions. And in the crucial clash against KKR, Hyderabad would like their captain to lead from the front. The Australian is a big match player and if he gets a start, he can really destroy KKR's bowling line up.

Mustafizur Rahman: Playing in his maiden IPL, premier Bangladeshi seamer has already made a name for himself in the cash-rich league. Even in the shortest format of the game, he has managed to stop batsmen from scoring freely. And more importantly, he is picking up wickets at regular intervals for his side.

Andre Russell: Timely comeback of the West Indian all-rounder is a good news for Kolkata. Before missing a couple of matches due to leg injury, Russell was the most valuable player for his side in this season. He has not just chipped in with the willow, but also provided his team crucial breakthroughs in the tourney. He is expected to play an important role in today's encounter as well.

Sunil Narine: The premier KKR bolwer for years, Narine has performed below par this season. But as the tournament is heading towards its last phase, the offie seems to be getting his rhythm back. On top, his best performance this season came against Hyderabad, when he finished with 3 for 26 on Sunday. He could make life miserable for batsmen, regardless of the track.
