Life beyond cricket: Humanist Rohit Sharma visits orphanage after IPL stint

New Delhi: Celebrated Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma on Saturday shared his humanistic aspects after a visit to an undisclosed orphanage.

The Mumbai Indians skipper, who had a forgettable Indian Premier League season, posted photos from the visit on micro-blogging site Twitter.

The 29-year-old hailed the "inspiring" "spirit and grit" of the youngsters at the orphanage.

Defending champions Mumbai Indians failed to make the play-offs after finishing fifth in points table with seven wins from 14 round-robin matches.
