New Delhi: Narendra Modi and Virat Kohli are among the two most popular public personalities in the country.

While Mr. Modi is considered as the most-loved political leader in India, cricket icon Kohli's fan following is steadily increasing with each passing day.

After the BJP leader became Prime Minister, the duo has exchanged greetings on social micro-blogging site Twitter on numerous occasions.

While the stylish right-hander congratulated Mr. Modi on forming the new government and taking office, the latter has often hailed India's Test skipper after superb batting displays.

Though there is no public record of any personal meeting between the two, Virat gave an interesting answer when asked to describe the country's leader in one word by CNN's Mallika Kapur.

'Self-belief' was the first word that came to mind when he thought of Mr. Modi, said Virat.

Virat has often stated that he has a lot of belief in his cricketing abilities that helping him perform on the pitch.

Hence it comes as no surprise that the Delhi batsman appreciates that very quality in India's PM.
