Jesse Ryder to meet with Kiwi coach to decide on careerWellington: Jesse Ryder has said his meeting with New Zealand coach Mike Hesson on January 29 would decide his future with the national team, but the swashbuckling left handed batsman insisted his priority remains his Wellington Firebirds side.

Ryder, who has been out of international cricket for 11 months following a self-imposed exile, said he had definitely not ruled out a return to international cricket when England tours New Zealand next month, Stuff.co.nz reports.

Ryder has been in brilliant form for Wellington all season and would be a welcome addition to the embattled national side if he makes himself available. Ryder also refused to rule out a comeback in international cricket, adding only after the meeting with Hesson any decision would be made.

When asked how he thought he`d handle the pressures of international cricket, including failures, Ryder was again positive in his response, saying he will be fine as he had a good last eleven months.

The domestic T20 competition`s leading run scorer said that his preference was to play all three forms of the game when he did eventually come back, if he was picked, and he hoped he would also continue to bowl.
