JK lead by 230 runs over Goa

Porvorim (Goa): Opening batsman Shubham Khajuria (68) and Siddharth`s (47) fine batting helped Jammu & Kashmir to be back on the track, as they posted 252 for 6 after conceded 18 runs first innings on the penultimate day of the U-22 C K Nayudu four-day cricket league match against Goa.

At the draw of stumps, they were 252 for 6 in their second inning with Gokul Baru and Deepak Manhas, batting with 17 and 3 respectively.

Opener Shubham Khajuria (68 runs, 164 balls, 12x4) and Siddharth Mangotra (47 runs, 128 balls, 5x4) set a good foundation for J & K, with an opening stand of 98 runs.

For Goa, pacer Vitthal Gauns took 3, while Gauresh Gauns, Vivian Castalino and Tushar Narvekar took 1 wicket each).
