Jonathan Carter covers for injured Charles as Kieron Pollard arrivesSt.George`s (Grenada): Left-hander Jonathan Carter will remain with the West Indies as cover for opener Johnson Charles for Sunday`s second One-Day International against Zimbabwe.

Carter was originally called up as cover for Kieron Pollard, who was experiencing travel difficulties in reaching Grenada ahead of the start of the three-match One-Day Series.

However a WICB release late Saturday says Pollard has since arrived and will be available for the second One-Dayer at the Grenada National Stadium.

Charles made 130 to win the Man-of-the-Match award in the West Indies` huge victory by 156 runs in the opening match Friday.

During the innings he was struck on his left foot and is receiving treatment for the injury.

A decision on his participation in the second match will be made before the toss.
