Mumbai: When it comes to making news for the outrageous and the nasty, Rakhi Sawant walks away with the crown. The starlet, who has turned her marriage into a prime time soap opera, is doing everything it takes to add originality to her otherwise staged reality show.
And even though speculations are rife that Rakhi would back out of her marriage at the last moment, the preparations for her engagement on August 2 have already kick started. And if that doesn’t shock you enough, the fact that the Rakhi will be decked up in jewellery worth a throbbing Rs 1 crore for her special day is bound to set your heart thumping.
According to the latest Bollywood news, Rakhi will be wearing a diamond necklace worth Rs 50 lakhs besides decking up in some other priceless jewels. Farah Ali Khan will design her jewelry, while Neeta Lulla will design Rakhi`s bridal trousseau.
As for who’s paying for this entire hullabaloo? Well, the channel of course, that has been playing her ‘maika’ up till now. Now how is that for a big farce tamasha!
