MJ’s siblings give their blessings for Las Vegas birthday tribute

London: Michael Jackson`s siblings are so touched by the impending Las Vegas birthday tribute to the late King of Pop that they have given their blessings to the producers of the show. The Jackson family is endorsing a Las Vegas-planned tribute to the ‘Thriller’ star on what would`ve been the King of Pop`s 51st birthday.

Palms Hotel and Casino bosses hope to stage the show on August 29—Jackson’s 51st birthday. And the pop star`s family have given the thumbs up for the event, insisting that the late star would have been honoured by the spectacular. "While my family and I continue to mourn the loss of our beloved Michael, it warms our hearts to know of the very special event happening in Las Vegas on my brother`s birthday,” a news daily quoted Michael`s sister La Toya as saying. She added, "Michael`s true love was his music and his fans, and I am quite certain he would be honoured, to know of his music and talent being celebrated in such a wonderful manner." ANI
