Mandy Moore "heartbroken" over DJ AM`s death

London: Hollywood actress Mandy Moore is "absolutely heartbroken" over the tragic death of her ex-boyfriend DJ AM. The couple dated in 2007 and rekindled their romance shortly after the mixmaster, real name Adam Goldstein, survived a horrific plane crash in South Carolina last year, reported Contactmusic.

The `Walk to Remember` star has paid tribute to her former beau, who was found dead in his New York City apartment on Friday after a suspected drug overdose. "I am absolutely heartbroken. For those of us lucky enough to have known him, Adam radiated a contagious exuberance for life and also personified the very definition of a true friend," Moore says in a statement. "To say that he will be missed beyond words is an understatement. My heart goes out to his loved ones," she added. The 25-year-old actress, who married rocker Ryan Adams in March this year, was spotted filming her upcoming movie `Swinging with the Finkels` in London the day authorities discovered her former beau dead.
