New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday announced that the Men in Blue will feature in two T20 international matches against West Indies in the United States of America.

According to a report in the Indian Express, limited-overs skipper MS Dhoni and pacer Jasprit Bumrah will join the likes of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma in America.

Barring Murali Vijay, Cheteshwar Pujara, Wriddhiman Saha, Stuart Binny, Shardul Thakur and Umesh Yadav, the remainder of India's current Test side will fly directly to US after the conclusion of the four Tests.

"As it will be a short tour the Indian team will go with 14 members squad. Dhoni and Bumrah might join the team straight in USA," a source told the newspaper.

With a large Indian population in the US, the Indian cricket team is expected to get plenty of support during the two-match series.

The Duleep Trophy, which is expected to be played on August 23 in Noida, is bound to suffer in the process.

The BCCI wanted all the big-name players to be part of the tournament, which is to be pink ball as a day-night affair.

The Duleep Trophy tournament is likely to be a three-team affair.
