Mumbai, May 28: From battlegrounds to patch-up occasions, Bollywood birthday bashes are no longer just simple star studded affairs where celebs deck up all high and mighty to flaunt their best. They have become the centre of high drama and volatile cashes. And taking lead here too like everywhere else is Shah Rukh Khan, the showstopper for his party pooper ways. The actor, who started the warring trend last year as he played spoilsport at Kat’s birthday bash, losing good chum Salman in the process, was seen apologising to Aishwarya at Karan Johar’s grand birthday gala. Wonder why? Well as believed by many it was Shah Rukh’s rowdy comments for Ash that made Sallu lose his cool leading to an ugly façade. Though SRK had vehemently denied all such reports and had even taken support from Amar Singh to get his word across to the Bachchans, the cracks in their relationship were more than visible. What’s more is that SRK had irked Ash more than once. The actor had previously, again because of Salman’s raucous antics, dumped Ash from his home production ‘Chalte Chalte’-an act neither forgotten nor forgiven by Ash. But now the warring hero, SRK, is going back to mending his acrimonious acts. Talking about the big patch-up between Ash and SRK at K Jo’s party a source told a news daily, "A few minutes into the conversation with Ash, SRK apologised to her. He said, `I think I owe you an apology because in some way I have wronged you'." Showing her graceful charms Ash accepted his apology. And within a few minutes the newly foe turned friends were seen making merry as they danced and laughed over their past childlike acts.
