MP CM says Sachin will help India win World Cup

Bhopal: Stating that he liked all players of the Indian cricket team, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan said here on Friday that his admiration was reserved for master blaster Sachin Tendulkar.

"We have a lot of faith in Sachin`s abilities to help us win the world cup after a gap of 28 years," the Chief Minister said.Chouhan said that he also liked the Indian cricket captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni under whose leadership the success rate of the national team was very high.

He said that in his view Dhoni should follow the precept of Swami Vivekanand according to which nothing was beyond his abilities.

"All sports lovers in India badly want the world cup to come to the country," Chouhan said.

The Chief Minister also lauded the performance of the players of the state in the National Games being held at Ranchi and added that all this had become possible because of the efforts made in the field of sports in the last 4-5 years in the state.
