MS Dhoni turns 34, cricketing fraternity wishes pour in

New Delhi: As Mahendra Singh Dhoni turned 34 on Tuesday, the cricketing fraternity poured in good wishes for India's ODI captain.

Players, past and present, took to social micro-blogging site Twitter to wish captain cool.

Interestingly, this is Dhoni's first birthday as a father to his baby daughter Ziva.

From Suresh Raina to Anil Kumble, here is what everyone had to say to Mahi on his special day.

Dhoni, citing fatigue as reason, opted out of India's tour to Zimbabwe that begins on July 10.

Having retired last year from Test cricket, Dhoni received flak after India slumped to a shocking ODI series defeat against Bangladesh last month.

Some even suggest there is a rift between Virat Kohli and Dhoni. Also, there have been constant reports of a divide in Team India in the last couple of months.

Irrespective of all the speculation and conspiracy theories, Indian cricket owes a great debt of gratitude to the valiant captain and his birthday is the perfect time to thank MS Dhoni for his contribution.
