That’s it! New Zealand have exacted revenge by beating England in the second T20I at Hamilton by 55 runs. ENGLAND Overs: 18 II Score: 124/8 ( Tredwell: 13*, Finn: 2*)

Franklin puts brakes on Jos Buttler’s entertaining knock that ends after he mistimes one to Taylor. He scored 54 (30b, 4X9, 6X1). Later in the over Tredwell played one high over midwicket region for a six. Nine runs and a wicket from the over.

ENGLAND Overs: 16 II Score: 101/7 (Buttler: 45*, Tredwell: 1*)

Seems like Buttler is on to something! He is fighting a lost cause creaming Kiwi bowlers for plenty! Grant Elliot’s first over has been smashed for 20 runs including three fours and a six - all by Jos Buttler. He has rocketed to a fifty in just 29 deliveries that include nine boundaries and a maximum.

ENGLAND Overs: 14 II Score: 79/6 (Buttler: 24*, Broad: 1*)

Cannot believe that this is the same English side that had New Zealand on the mat in the first T20I! England need another 114 runs in 36 deliveries with just four wicket remaining. Samit Patel was the sixth wicket to fall after being run out by Boult. He scored 6 (7b, 4X1).

ENGLAND Overs: 12 II Score: 60/5 (Buttler: 8*, Patel: 5*)

ENGLAND Overs: 10 II Score: 47/4 (Morgan: 13*, Buttler: 2*)

Lumb’s struggle ends as he steps out and plays it across. He misses it, the ball after hitting his pad, crashes on to the leg stump. He scored 17 (23b, 4X2). Earlier, Butler was robbed of a chance to get his second wicket when Rutherford dropped a sitter at midwicket after Morgan mistimed a pull.

ENGLAND Overs: 8 II Score: 41/3 ( Lumb: 16*, Morgan: 10*)

Two boundaries for Morgan –each in the over of Butler to third man and of Nathan McCullum through point.

ENGLAND Overs: 6 II Score: 31/3 ( Lumb: 15*, Morgan: 1*)

Bairstow sets off for the dugout after being done in by a quicker short stuff from Ian Butler that he tamely plays into the hands of McClenaghan. He scored 8 (9b, 4X2). Skipper Eoin Morgan comes to the crease.

ENGLAND Overs: 4 II Score: 23/2 ( Lumb: 8*, Bairstow: 8*)

ENGLAND Overs: 2 II Score: 9/2 ( Lumb: 3*, Bairstow: 0*)

Terrible start to the chase! Mitchell McClenaghan has picked two wickets off two deliveries to remove dangerman Luke Wright and Alex Hales. The first of them to depart was Hales who was beaten for the swing while getting bowled in the process after hitting the pervious delivery for a boundary. Off the next delivery he had Wright caught at gully by Guptill. England need another 184 runs to win this contest to claim the series.

NEW ZEALAND Overs: 20 II Score: 192/6 ( Franklin: 6*, N. McCullum: 0*)

Brilliant finish from New Zealand! Off the final over came 16 runs and also Dernbach managed to get some revenge by removing McCullum who was caught by Lumb at sweeper cover. He scored 74 (38b, 4X6, 6X5). Eight runs and a wicket from the over. Off the 17th, came just seven runs. The good thing for the NZ team is that they still have McCullum at the crease.

NEW ZEALAND Overs: 16 II Score: 139/4 (McCullum: 38*, Elliott: 0*)
