New Delhi: Indian cricketer Suresh Raina has found a new way to strengthen his body and mind as the UP batsman practiced Hot High Altitude Yoga during a trip to Amsterdam.

While talking to the Times of India, the southpaw revealed that High Altitude Yoga has been part of his training regime in the past few weeks and helped him a lot.

“High Altitude Yoga has been part of my training regime in the past few weeks in Amsterdam and it has really helped me strengthen my body and mind. It is quite challenging. It relaxes your muscles and boosts your confidence level when it becomes a part of your training regime,“ Raina told the newspaper.

The 28-year-old practiced Yoga at a regulated temperature of 43 degree Celsius for an hour daily in Amsterdam.

During his month-long vacation in The Netherlands with newly-wed wife Priyanka, Raina also took part in the high intensity training at the synthetic pitches of Amsterdam Cricket Club (ACC).

It appears that in the new season Raina doesn't want to leave any stone unturned and wants to play at the highest level in terms of both cricket and fitness for India.
