No practice for teams ahead of final ODI, due to rain

Margao: Persistent rains on Saturday forced cancellation of the practice sessions of both the Indian and Australian cricket teams on the eve of the third and final One-day here.

It rained consistently last night before stopping early in the morning. However, it started raining again around 9:00am, forcing the groundsmen to cover the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium.

Australia need to win Sunday’s match to square the three-martch series.

India had won the second match in Visakhapatnam to take a 1-0 lead while the first match was abandoned due to rains in Kochi.
