Oz keeper Haddin still the best for Tests: Clarke

Australian captain Michael Clarke believes that wicketkeeper Brad Haddin will be the number one gloveman for Tests depending on his availability.

Roseau (Dominica, West Indies): Australian captain Michael Clarke believes that wicketkeeper Brad Haddin will be the number one gloveman for Tests depending on his availability.
“In my opinion, Brad will come back into the Test side when fully fit and available,” Sky News quoted Clarke, as saying. Haddin has been abstaining from the series because he had to fly home from the Caribbean for family reasons last month, and Matthew Wade has been minding the stumps in his place. “That``s certainly nothing against Wadey. He learned a lot during the one-day series through facing spin in completely different conditions to what he was used to back in Australia. He will continue to get better. Having the likes of Steve Rixon, Rod Marsh and also Brad Haddin around, when we can, will certainly help him,” Clarke said. He revealed that it has been ‘a long summer for the Australian team’ and they ‘would like to finish on a high.’ ANI
