Oz press says lack of cricket likely to increase Warner`s woes
Sydney: The Australian press has claimed that disappointments for batsman David Warner are likely to continue, after he recently went to Las Vegas on a holiday, following a leave granted by Cricket New South Wales with not much cricket to be played.
According to news.com.au, Warner was recently omitted from Australia`s one-day tour of India later this month.
It is understood that coach Darren Lehmann isn`t happy with Warner`s form and wants him to focus on scoring runs for NSW in the Ryobi Cup before he`s considered for selection, the report said.
The 26-year-old was also dropped from the ODI squad in England and told he needs to play more cricket but there was no cricket to be played, the report added.
