Pak players, officials donate bonus to flood victims
Karachi: Players and officials of the national team currently touring England have decided to donate half of their winning bonus to the victims of the massive floods in Pakistan.
The Pakistan Cricket Board announced that they had awarded 500,000 rupees as winning bonus for each playing member of the team that won the third Test against England at the Oval and 250,000 for the non-playing members and team officials.
"The players and officials have donated half of their winning bonus towards the flood victims," the board said.
The total amount donated by the players and officials is around 4.6 million rupees.
"The PCB and players had earlier also donated 11.4 million rupees for the prime minister`s relief fund for the flood victims," the PCB said in a statement.
