Passing showers in Nagpur ahead of World Cup match

Nagpur: The city witnessed brief spell of showers this afternoon though the Met office expects the clouds to clear before the World Cup match between England and
Netherlands here on Tuesday.

The Met office attributed the showers and drop in temperature on Sunday to upper air cyclonic circulation in south east Vidarbha, adjoining Chattisgarh and Eastern Madhya Pradesh.

Some parts of the region received rainfall last night as well.

The Met Department has forecast that the sky will be clear by tonight or tomorrow morning and there is no possibility of rains over the next two days.
