Mumbai, May 09: For those who believe that Bollywood’s starry damsels can’t be friends, there’s news. There seems to be a new addition to Kareena Kapoor`s ‘Best Friends’ list! The actress, who is known to have Amrita Arora as her closest chum, has gone ahead and given out a startling revelation about her dearest friend. Well, the one person that Bebo swears by is not Amrita, but Kajol. In a recent interview to a news daily, the actress confessed, “She`s (Kajol) more than a best friend to me. I have started sharing this lovely bond with Kajol and she is such an inspiration! I told her that I have admired her since I was a child, and of late we`ve been getting along like a house on fire.”
Kareena and Kajol, who met for the first time while shooting for Karan Johar`s ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’, will be seen setting the 70 mm on fire yet again with KJo’s Hindi version of Hollywood hit ‘Stepmom’. Looks like even KJo couldn’t resist the apparent chemistry between the actresses.
A complete Kajol fan, Kareena has also gone ahead and expressed a desire to be a part of the celebration of completion of 750 glorious weeks of ‘DDLJ’.
“I would die for DDLJ! Shah Rukh and Kajol is my all-time favourite pair. Isn`t it such a great thing (that the film has created a record)? I would want to be a part of the celebrations for sure,” said the actress.
