Karachi: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has hired a psychologist to help banned left-arm pacer Mohammad Aamir during his rehabilitation.
PCB chairman Zaka Ashraf said that the board would provide him financial assistance during his rehabilitation and they are keen to see him making his international comeback.
The International Cricket Council had advised the pacer to undergo rehabilitation after which Aamir also appeared in an educational video on behalf of the ICC`s Anti-Corruption and Security Unit.
Renowned psychotherapist Maqbool Babri will now hold sessions with the fast bowler for his speedy recovery.
The 20-year-old bowler was released from jail in February after serving half of his six-month sentence for his role in the spot-fixing scam.
