India lost Rahul Dravid (47) and MS Dhoni (2) in the morning session as Australia looked all set to wrap up the match before the last session of Day 3. India scored 77 runs in the session. The Australians are chipping away at the wickets and with Virat Kohli being the only recognized batsmen left, Aus bowlers would come out all guns blazing to wrap up the tail before India can score more than 43 runs.
India are trailing Australia by 43 runs and with four wickets remaining, it would be tough for India to even post a target of over 100 for the Aus in the second innings. Ben Hilfenhaus was looking out of sort but Mitchell Starc was oozing with confidence bowling with venom. Harris also persisted with consistent line and length getting the prized wicket of Dravid. Prior to Dravid’s fall, Starc and Harris had bowled quite a few maidens to put the pressure on the batsmen.
Peter Siddle also joined in with the wicket of MS Dhoni inducing him to drive only to edge the ball at second slip were Ponting took a sharp low catch.

He played across the line and in a bid to whip the good length ball to mid-wicket failed to connect, and the ball hit his pads and went straight through the stumps. Shockingly, this is the 8th time in 10 innings that Rahul Dravid has got out bowled. Ind 135/5
