Police complaint against Harbhajan Singh for serving tobacco at wedding ceremony: Reports

New Delhi: Harbhajan Singh’s wedding to Bollywood actress Geeta Basra on Sunday sparked a controversy when some Sikh organisations filled a complaint against the India cricketer for serving tobacco at the event.

As per the media reports, the Sikh organisations have demanded action against the cricketer. In fact, they have also warned that they would lodge a complaint against the off spinner at the Akal Takht — the highest seat of power of the Sikh religion.

Sikhism doesn't allow consumption of tobacco and alcohol.

It has been learnt that 113 types of tobacco were served in the high-profile marriage ceremony in Jalandhar.
