New Delhi: It seems that former Indian skipper Rahul Dravid's son Samit is following his father footsteps.

The 10-year-old Samit made the headlines on Wednesday when, he scored a magnificent century in an U-14 club cricket match in Bangalore.

While playing for Bangalore United Cricket Club (BUCC), Samit smashed 125 against Frank Anthony Public School in the Tiger Cup cricket tournament.

In his knock, Dravid Jr. hit 12 boundaries. However, he still remained the 2nd highest scorer in the match as his team-mate, Pratyush G remained unbeaten on 143.

In fact the duo helped their side to win the match by a big margin of 246 runs.

According to a report in Times of India, this is not the first time Dravid Jr. hogged the limelight. According to the newspaper, Samit also made headlines when was awarded the 'Best Batsman' in a U-12 Gopalan Cricket Challenge in September last year. Back then, he scored three match-winning half-centuries with scores of 77*, 93, and 77 in the final playing for his school Mallya Aditi International.
