Raina meets UP`s new CM Akhilesh

Lucknow: Cricketer Suresh Raina on Saturday paid a courtesy visit to Uttar Pradesh`s new Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav who expressed his views on improving the sports infrastructure in the state`s rural areas.

Yadav is also thinking of ways to provide better facilities to sportspersons in the urban areas, the Ghaziabad-based Raina said after meeting the CM at the Samajwadi Party headquarter. Raina said that Yadav also talked about building a stadium of international standard in the state capital. The meeting, during which Raina congratulated Yadav, lasted for about 15 minutes. PTI
