Ramdin jumps 20 spots amidst controversyDubai: Despite the swirling controversy over his ill-advised jibe at Sir Vivian Richards, West Indies wicketkeeper/batsman Denesh Ramdin was the biggest mover in the latest International Cricket Council player rankings.

The right-hander jumped 20 spots to 68th, following his unbeaten 107 on the fourth day of the final Test against England Sunday.

For Ramdin, it was his second century in 45 Tests and broke a slump which had seen him gather 56 runs from four innings on tour.

He was fined by the International Cricket Council for the jibe at Richards which was in response to earlier criticism levelled at him by the legendary West Indies batsman and captain, speaking as a pundit on BBC Radio following the second Test.

Meanwhile, opener Adrian Barath rose five places to 69th following his 41 while Kieran Powell also moved up five spots despite getting only 24.

In-form batsman Marlon Samuels continued his upward movement following his 76 while left-hander Darren Bravo slipped two spots after his failure at Edgbaston.

Veteran left-hander Shivnarine Chanderpaul remained on top of the batting rankings despite missing the final Test due to injury.

Speedster Kemar Roach remains the highest ranked West Indian in the bowlers` rankings that continues to be led by South African pacer Dale Steyn.
