New Delhi: India's limited-overs skipper MS Dhoni turned an year older on Thursday.

Apart from fans, wishes poured in for Mahi from current and former colleagues. 

Some players like Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin are perceived to be close to the wicketkeeper-batsman.

While Raina and Jaddu took to social micro-blogging site Twitter to wish Dhoni, there was a considerable delay from Ashwin's end.

Some fans questioned Ashwin about his 'late' wishes and even began speculating over the possible reasons. 

Tired with the conspiracy theories floating around, the Tamil Nadu cricketer revealed the reason behind the delay.

Before arriving in St. Kitts, the team had a stopover at London's Gatwick airport. Virat Kohli and co will play its first warm-up match on Saturday.
