The Ashes: Team mates, former players react to Graeme Swann's retirement

New Delhi: After Graeme Swann announced retirement from International and First Class cricket on Sunday, Twitter was abuzz with reactions from fans, team mates, and well wishers.

Team mate Tim Bresnen mentioned that many batsmen around the world have just exhaled a huge sigh of relief and tweeted

Former England captain Michael Vaughan called Swann a legend.

Team mate Monty Panesar tweeted

All-rounder Ravi Bopara congratulated Swann on a great career.

Steven Finn expressed that he would miss Swann.

Former Australian wicket-keeper Adam Gilchrist also wishes him luck.

Graeme Swann has played 60 Tests for England and made his debut against India in 2008. Right in his first over, he took two wickets. In a Test career spanning five years, he claimed 255 wickets and is sixth leading Test wicket taker of all time for England. Swann has taken 17 five wicket hauls throughout his Test career.
