The Ashes: What cricket veterans had to say on Jonathan Trott’s exit

London: The hype surrounding the Ashes series took its first toll in form of Jonathan Trott as the English number 3 left the tournament midway citing depression. His uncelebrated exit from the Ashes has drawn reactions from various cricket veterans. Spin legend Shane Warne expressed concerns over Trott’s health condition, while former England skipper Michael Vaughan apologized for slamming Trott over his dismissal in the Gabba Test.

Meanwhile, Trott’s team mates hailed his decision to leave the tour a brave one and applauded his courage.

However, former English cricketer Andrew Flintoff was confident Trott would be soon back on the field.
