Here's what was discussed by MS Dhoni and N Srinivasan during their Friday meeting.

New Delhi: MS Dhoni's breakfast meeting with N Srinivasan in Chennai on Friday raised several eyebrows.

According to a report in the Times of India, India's ODI and T20 skipper's meeting with the ICC chairman was "in a strictly personal capacity".

"Dhoni's flight to Mumbai was at 1:30pm. He knows us for years and called up Mr Srinivasan and came down to have masala dosa for breakfast," a source close to the developments told TOI.

"It was all very personal. They spoke about Dhoni's daughter, his business, and so many other things. Dhoni has always had a very good relationship with Srinivasan and it's obvious that he will come and meet him if he is in Chennai," the source added.

Over the years, the Dhoni-Srinivasan relationship has come under the scanner.

It has been alleged that the Tamil Nadu strongman offered protection to Dhoni despite India's woeful overseas Test record.

"Those who are criticizing Dhoni for meeting Srinivasan should also know that he is also the vice-president of the company. Isn't it natural that he will meet the managing director of the same company, if he is in the city?" the official said.

With CSK being suspended for two seasons, Dhoni in all probability join a new IPL team.

However, there were no discussions about CSK or the IPL during the meeting between the duo.
