Nostalgic moments from Sachin Tendulkar`s life on view

A photograph exhibition showcases various moods and highlights of Tendulkar`s life at a Kolkata club.

Kolkata: Sachin Tendulkar playing chess with another cricketing great Vivian Richards, listening to tips on art from painter Maqbool Fida Husain, cheering up a young cerebral palsy patient - these are frozen frames on display at a Kolkata club.
Unveiled by the Cricket Association of Bengal president Jagmohan Dalmiya, the photograph exhibition showcases various moods and highlights of Tendulkar`s life, as the batting genius gears up for his 199th and penultimate Test match at the Eden Gardens here, beginning Nov 6. The 199 photos on show include the master`s visit to the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital in Pakistan of Imran Khan, celebrations of the Indian cricket team after the 2011 World Cup triumph, and a young Tendulkar taking a nap in the Indian dressing room. Images of Tendulkar`s marriage, and some childhood moments with his parents are also part of the exhibition, which will continue till Nov 10, when the Eden match is slated to end.
