Sachin Tendulkar’s grand farewell bash tonight

Mumbai: Over 1000 guests are expected at Sachin Tendulkar’s farewell bash that is going to be held tonight at Waterstone Club in Andheri East.
As per the reports in Mumbai Mirror, the party hosted by Tendulkars will be attended by both the Indian and West Indies Cricket teams. The star-studded guests list also includes Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Nita Ambani and Brian Lara.
Sachin has also invited close friends and relatives including his classmates from Shardashram School.
Sachin’s wife Anjali Tendulkar had sent personal invites to the guests.
The bating maestro Sachin Tendulkar retired from cricket on November 16 after serving the nation for 24 long years. His last Test match was held at his home ground in Mumbai at the Wankhede stadium. His farewell speech had left many in tears and the nation was almost in a standstill for the last two days.
Sachin was also conferred India’s highest civilian honour, the Bharat Ratna, post his retirement.
On Sunday, the Master Blaster addressed the Media for the very first time as a former Indian cricketer.
