New Delhi: A random draw conducted on Thursday in New York's Time Square to pick squads for the Cricket All-Stars series threw up an exciting line-up.

The T20 series, which begins at Citi Field on Saturday, will feature two teams – Sachin's Blasters and Warne's Warriors - comprising of some of world's greatest cricketers.

The first 26 players were drawn by lots. However former Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhtar's fate was decided by a coin flip, reports ESPNCricinfo.

While Tendulkar's side is dominated by former India cricketers, Warne's side has several of his former Aussie teammates.

Cricket fans will also get an opportunity to witness Tendulkar and Lara bat together during the series.

The first game is scheduled to take place on November 7 at Citi Field in New York, with two more to follow in Houston and Los Angeles on November 11 and 14 respectively.
