Sanjay Dutt & Suniel Shetty kept check on Azhar`s son

Hyderabad: Actors Sanjay Dutt and Suniel Shetty, close friends of Mohammad Azharuddin, had been keeping a check on his youngest son Ayazuddin ever since they heard about his bike accident. They called up the family a number of times everyday and even talked to the doctors to keep updated on his health status. At a time when Azhar was returning to India after his son was taken into the intensive care ward of Apollo Hospital Hyderabad, the two ensured that nobody in the family panicked and got the necessary work done. Sanjay Dutt called up about five times on the first day itself and asked Azhar`s family to keep him informed about Ayaz`s condition. Suniel Shetty too enquired about Ayaz as soon as he heard the news. "He is currently shooting for "Department" and calls up in between shoots as and when he gets time," said a source. The passing away of the promising Under-19 cricketer was deeply mourned by not just the cricketing fraternity, but by the common masses as well.
