New Delhi: Indian selectors will meet on Monday to select the Indian squad for the remaining two ODIs against Sri Lanka and for the forthcoming tour to Australia.
One of the discussions which is likely to be a part of the meeting is the selection of a reserved opener. While Murali Vijay and Shikhar Dhawan look all set for the Australian tour, the selectors would contemplate over the option of the reserved opener.
Earlier, the selection of the squad for the upcoming four-Test series was delayed. The BCCI sources had earlier said that the squad would be selected on November 4.
The Indian team is set to depart for Australia on November 21, the sources added.
India and Australia will be playing a four-match Test series for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy from December 4, 2014 to January 7, 2015.
The Tests are scheduled at Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney.
