New Delhi: Former Indian skipper Mohammad Azharuddin is in news once again as the biopic on his life 'Azar' has hit the theaters this week.
The movie showcases Azharuddin's otherwise outstanding cricket career, which ended on a sad note due to his involvement in the match-fixing scandal.
However, former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli created a new controversy by stating that Azhar was the reason why legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar once decided to quit captaincy.
When a recent report published in ABP Majha raised a question - 'Was Azhar the reason behind Tendulkar’s decision to quit captaincy?' Kambli said yes, adding that he was witness to the incident.
