NEW ZEALAND: Overs: 20 II Score: 146/9 (1st innings)(B. McCullum12*, McLaren 3/25)

Nine runs and a wicket in the last over of the match as South Africa win the third and final T20I by 33 runs to win the three-match series 2-1. Hira was the ninth wicket to fall after being caught by Ontong off Kleinveldt.
====================================================================================

NEW ZEALAND: Overs: 19 II Score: 136/8 (1st innings)( Hira 12*, Bracewell 7*)

13 runs from Morkel’s final over! Eight of them scored via boundaries. The first came off the first delivery off the bat of Hira to long on region. The next one was scored by Bracewell via a pull.
====================================================================================

NEW ZEALAND: Overs: 18 II Score: 123/8 (1st innings)( Hira 5*, Bracewell 2*)

A boundary scored by Hira off Kleinveldt. The ball flew over kepper’s head to the fence after hitting his forearm. Six runs from it.
====================================================================================

NEW ZEALAND: Overs: 17 II Score: 117/8 (1st innings)(Bracewell 1*, Hira 0*)

Two wickets in Ryan McLaren’s over off consecutive deliveries! The first one to depart was Anderson. He played one back to McLaren and the ball bounced just in front of him as he attempted a catch. By that time Anderson was well out of his crease and McLaren took the bails off non-strikers’ end. He scored 12 (9b,4X1). The next wicket to fall was that of McCullum who was caught by Peterson. He scored 17 (14b, 4X2).
====================================================================================

NEW ZEALAND: Overs: 16 II Score: 114/6 (1st innings)( Anderson 11*, McCullum 16*)

Eight runs from the over. Morkel comes back and his second delivery goes past the third man boundary by McCullum.
====================================================================================

NEW ZEALAND: Overs: 15 II Score: 105/6 (1st innings)( Anderson 8*, McCullum 10*)

A boundary, three singles and a wide from McLaren’s third over. The boundary was scored by McCullum to fine leg.
====================================================================================

NEW ZEALAND: Overs: 14 II Score: 95/6 (1st innings)( Anderson 7*, McCullum 2*)

Quite a sight when you see Morne Morkel flying in the air in an attempt to snaffle a catch! Robin Peterson was delighted as Neesham reverse swept one that was caught brilliantly by Morkel at short third man region! Neesham scored 12 (10b, 4X2). In comes Corey Anderson. An edge gives him a boundary. The Kiwis need plenty of those without losing any wicket if they have to win this match which now looks highly unlikely. Eight runs and a wicket from the over.
====================================================================================

NEW ZEALAND: Overs: 13 II Score: 87/5 (1st innings)( Neesham 12*, McCullum 1*)

Phangiso removes Franklin to claim his third wicket of the match! Franklin steps out and plays one from Phangiso straight to Ontong at long on. He scored 16 (13b, 4X1, 6X1). NZ have lost half of their side. Nathan McCullum is the new batsman.

NEW ZEALAND: Overs: 12 II Score: 80/4 (1st innings)( Neesham 10*, Franklin 12*)

Justin Ontong introduced into the attack and Franklin greets him with a six! The first delivery is tossed up and Franklin charges down the track sending it over long off fence. Nine runs from the over.
====================================================================================

NEW ZEALAND: Overs: 11 II Score: 71/4 (1st innings)( Neesham 9*, Franklin 4*)

Neesham steps out of his crease and plays it over deep midwicket region for a boundary. Seven runs from the over. They required run rate is climbing! It is now 12.11 rpo.
====================================================================================

NEW ZEALAND: Overs: 10 II Score: 64/4 (1st innings)( Neesham 4*, Franklin 3*)

With each falling wicket New Zealand’s chances of registering a series win are getting dimmer! They have lost their fourth wicket in Colin Munro. He was caught by keeper de Kock off Ryan McLaren. He scored 3 (10b). NZ need another 116 runs from 60 deliveries with six wickets in hands to win this third T20I.
====================================================================================

NEW ZEALAND: Overs: 9 II Score: 59/3 (1st innings)( Munro 3*, Franklin 2*)

Aaron Phangsio strikes again! This time he has removed dangerman Brendon McCullum. He came down the track and ended up hitting one into the hands of Justin Ontong at wide of long off. He scored 25 (22b, 4X3, 6X1). James Franklin is the new man in the middle.
====================================================================================

NEW ZEALAND: Overs: 8 II Score: 55/2 (1st innings)( McCullum 25*, Munro 1*)

Just two runs from the over. Rory Kleinveldt has bowled two overs so far giving away just nine runs
====================================================================================

NEW ZEALAND: Overs: 7 II Score: 53/2 (1st innings)( McCullum 24*, Munro 0*)

Aaron Phangiso (remember the guy who took Sachin Tendulkar’s wicket in CLT20?) has removed Martin Guptill! Phangiso floats one in the air and Guptill goes for a paddle sweep. The ball instead balloons into the air ending into the hands of Peterson at midwicket. He scored 24 (20b, 4X3, 6X1). Eight runs and a wicket from the over.
====================================================================================

NEW ZEALAND: Overs: 6 II Score: 45/1 (1st innings)(Guptill 17*, McCullum 23*)

A boundary and three singles scored off Rory Kleinveldt’s first over. The boundary came from the bat of McCullum via a cut past point region.
====================================================================================

NEW ZEALAND: Overs: 5 II Score: 38/1 (1st innings)(Guptill 15*, McCullum 18*)

Back-to-back boundaries for Guptill! Morkel’s second over has produced nine runs for the Kiwis. Both the boundaries were scored through covers. The scoring rate is picking up.
====================================================================================

NEW ZEALAND: Overs: 4 II Score: 29/1 (1st innings)(Guptill 6*, McCullum 18*)

15 runs from Peterson’s second over for Kiwis! Last match centurion Martin Guptill scored a boundary off the first delivery. Then McCullum hit a biggie straight down the ground following it with a boundary off the last delivery.
====================================================================================

NEW ZEALAND: Overs: 3 II Score: 14/1 (1st innings)(Guptill 1*, McCullum 8*)

First boundary for New Zealand! Right-arm pacer Morne Morkel introduced into the attack and gives away six runs. A boundary came off it scored by McCullum through cover.
====================================================================================

NEW ZEALAND: Overs: 2 II Score: 8/1 (1st innings)(Guptill 1*, McCullum 2*)

Left arm slow bowler Robin Peterson introduced into the attack. A good first over from the tweaker. He keeps McCullum quiet giving him just a single.
====================================================================================

NEW ZEALAND: Over: 1 II Score: 7/1 (1st innings)(Guptill 1*, McCullum 1*)

A bad start to the chase for the Kiwis! They have lost Rob Nicol in the first over. Ryan McLaren has truck in the first over removing Nicol after having him trapped in front. He scored 5 (3b, 4X1).
====================================================================================

SOUTH AFRICA :Overs: 20 II Score: 179/6 (1st innings)( Davids 68, McClenaghan 2/24)

Another eventful over in the South African innings! Miller began the over with a boundary to third man region. The next ball gave the same result but in a different region (through cover). The trhid produced a couple while the fourth gave him his fourth boundary. The final two deliveries went in favour of the Kiwis as they removed Miller and Behardien off them. Miller was caught by Corey Anderson while Behardien by McClenaghan off Bracewell.

New Zealand need 180 runs in 120 deliveries to seal the three-match T20I series in their favour.
====================================================================================

SOUTH AFRICA :Overs: 19 II Score: 165/4 (1st innings)( Miller 14*, Behardien 22*)

An expensive over from Jimmy Neesham as Behardien gets into the act! He has scored a boundary and a six off consecutive Neesham deliveries. The boundary was hit between midwicket and long on region while the six over deep midwicket. It didn’t help as Neesham bowled three wides in the over as 18 runs came off it.
====================================================================================

SOUTH AFRICA :Overs: 18 II Score: 147/4 (1st innings)( Miller 13*, Behardien 8*)

McCullum bowls it full and Behardien sweeps it to midwicket region for a boundary. Nine runs from the over including a double and three singles.
====================================================================================

SOUTH AFRICA :Overs: 17 II Score: 138/4 (1st innings)( Miller 11*, Behardien 1*)

A fine innings from Henry Davids finally came to an end after he was caught by Anderson off pacer Mitchell McClenaghan . It was full length delivery that Davids looked to flick but it ended up in the hands of fielder at deep midwicket. He scored 68 (51b, 4X7, 6X2). Farhaan Behardien is the new man in the middle.
====================================================================================

SOUTH AFRICA :Overs: 16 II Score: 131/3 (1st innings)(Davids 68*, Miller 6*)

Another good over for SA! The first delivery was hit for a six by Davids employing a pull off Bracewell. Bracewell bowled a slower one to Miller that went for a boundary after taking an inside edge. 15 runs from the over.
====================================================================================

SOUTH AFRICA :Overs: 15 II Score: 116/3 (1st innings)(Davids 60*, Ontong 48)

Quite an eventful over this from James Franklin! His first two deliveries were dispatched with disdain by Justin Ontong for two sixes to midwicket and deep square leg regions. The next two produced two doubles. However, Ontong took the aerial root again off the penultimate delivery but this time was caught by Anderson at extra cover. Left-handed batsman David Miller is the new man in the middle.
====================================================================================

SOUTH AFRICA :Overs: 14 II Score: 99/2 (1st innings)(Davids 59*, Ontong 32*)

A double off the first delivery followed by four singles. McCullum was expensive in his first over but has made a good comeback here in the second. He has given 18 runs in two overs.
====================================================================================

SOUTH AFRICA :Overs: 13 II Score: 93/2 (1st innings)(Davids 55*, Ontong 30*)

====================================================================================

SOUTH AFRICA :Overs: 12 II Score: 84/2 (1st innings)(Davids 48*, Ontong 29*)

====================================================================================

SOUTH AFRICA :Overs: 11 II Score: 71/2 (1st innings)(Davids 46*, Ontong 18*)

====================================================================================

SOUTH AFRICA :Overs: 10 II Score: 63/2 (1st innings)(Davids 40*, Ontong 16*)

Runs aren’t coming quickly off the bat of Proteas batsmen. The last over fetched five singles. Halfway through the innings the score is just 63. However, the good thing is that they have wickets in hand.
====================================================================================

SOUTH AFRICA :Overs: 9 II Score: 58/2 (1st innings)(Davids 38*, Ontong 13*)

Four singles and a boundary off the last ball of Jimmy Neesham’s over. The boundary came from the bat of Davids through an edge past the keeper.
