SRI LANKA (2nd innings) Score: 160/3 II Overs: 41.4 (Thirimanne 13*, Mathews 13*)

Sri Lanka have won the second Test by seven wickets to clinch the two-match series 1-0. They were chasing 160 runs and reached the target comfortably losing three wickets in the process. Tillakratne Dilshan and Kumar Sangakkar scored a half-century each to lead the chase. Birthday boy Rangana Herath took 12 wickets in the match.

The focus now shifts to the three-match ODI series set to begin from March 23.

SRI LANKA (2nd innings) Score: 131/2 II Overs: 32 (Sangakkara 51*, Thirimanne 1*)

Sri Lanka lost their second wicket in Dilshan who was removed by Robiul Islam. He was out after being bowled at the score of 57 (73b, 4X6). Kumar Sangakkara has notched up yet another fifty. He reached the milestone with a boundary of Sohag Gazi. Sri Lanka need another 29 runs to win.
====================================================================================

SRI LANKA (2nd innings) Score: 103/1 II Overs: 23 (Dilshan 52*, Sangakkara 33*)

Tea has been taken and Sri Lanka are just 57 runs away from winning this Test. They have nine wickets in hand. Dilshan reached his 23rd Test fifty with a couple to fine leg off Nasir Hossain. He this made up for his first innings failure when he was dismissed by Islam for a duck.
====================================================================================

SRI LANKA (2nd innings) Score: 80/1 II Overs: 16 (Dilshan 40*, Sangakkara 22*)

Sri Lanka are cruising along nicely at a run rate of five per over. The pair has scored at least a boundary each in the last four overs. The first of those came in the 13th over from the bat of Sangakkara off Hossain to mid-on boundary. Off the next, Dilshan bent on one knee and scored a boundary through point. In the following over, Sanga collected his fourth boundary while Dilshan collected his fifth off the next.
====================================================================================

SRI LANKA (2nd innings) Score: 31/1 II Overs: 7 (Dilshan 13*, Sangakkara 0*)

Sri Lanka have lost their first wicket in Dimuth Karunaratne who adjudged lbw off Robiul Islam. He scored 16 (26b, 4X3). Off the first ball of the over, Dilshan had scored a boundary through point region. Sri Lanka need another 129 runs to win this Test. Kumar Sangakkara, who has been in supreme form, is the new man in the middle.
====================================================================================

BANGLADESH (2nd innings) Score: 265/10 II Overs: 100 (Hasan 25*)

Bangladesh have been bowled out for 265 runs in their second innings. Robiul Islam was the tenth wicket to fall after being bowled by Shaminda Eranga. He scored 10 (10b, 6X1). Sri Lanka need 160 runs to win this Test. A superb performance by Rangana Herath as he picked seven wickets in the second innings. Shaminda Eranga took two wickets while Dilshan one. For Bangladesh, Tamim Iqbal top-scored with 59 followed by Jahurul Islam (48) and captain Mushfiqur Rahim (40). Lunch has been taken.
====================================================================================

BANGLADESH (2nd innings) Score: 232/8 II Overs: 90 (Hossain 4*, Hasan 6*)

Rangana Herath has joined the 200 Test wickets club. He is having a wonderful morning having picked up all Bangladeshi wickets that have fallen today. In fact, Herath has seven wickets to his name in the second innings. Had it not been for Shaminda Eranga (who has picked up one wicket), the tweaker would be eyeing the record for becoming the third bowler in Test history to claim all 10 wickets in an innings. Bangladesh’s skipper Mushfiqur Rahim was the latest wicket to fall as he was given out caught at first slip off Herath. He scored 40 (87b, 4X3, 6X1).
====================================================================================

BANGLADESH (2nd innings) Score: 175/6 II Overs: 76 (Rahim 19*, Gazi 2*)

Today is Rangana Herath’s 35th birthday and the tweaker celebrated it with a wicket in his first over of the day removing overnight batsman Mominul Haque. He was caught at short-leg by Karunaratne. Haque scored 37 (93b, 4X2). Herath added another wicket to his tally by claiming the wicket of Nasir Hossain who was out bowled. That wicket also gave Herath his five-wicket haul. Bangladesh have a lead of 69 runs.
====================================================================================

BANGLADESH (2nd innings) Score: 158/4 II Overs: 69 (Haq 36*, Rahim 7*)

At the end of the 3rd day`s play Bangladesh were 158 for the loss of four wickets. Haque is batting well on 36* and Rahim (7*) has looked good so far in the middle. Bangladesh now lead by 52 runs with 6 wickets in hand.

For Sri Lanka Herath has picked up three wickets for 45 and has looked the most impressive bowler so far.
