New Delhi: Legendary Sri Lankan cricketer Kumar Sangakkara's illustrious career came to an end on Monday as India thrashed the home side by 278 runs in the 2nd Test at Colombo.
In an emotional farewell speech, Sanga thanked a lot of people including his parents, fans, Sri Lankan board and may others.
In his speech, the southpaw, who has scored 12,400 runs from 134 Test matches, also praised Virat Kohli-led Indian team who were brilliant in the match and spoiled his perfect farewell.

Sangakkara failed to contribute with the bat in his last Test innings, scoring just 18.
