Strauss will spend three weeks in India to prepare for Pak series

London: To prepare for England’s series against Pakistan in January, skipper Andrew Strauss will spend three weeks in India.

Test skipper Strauss wants to be in top form for an explosive showdown with Pakistan.

Batsman Eoin Morgan, back from shoulder surgery, and wicketkeeper Matt Prior will also fly to India to prepare for the series against Pakistan, The Sun reports.

Performance batting coach Graham Thorpe said: “They will practise outdoors in similar conditions to those they will face against Pakistan in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.”
