Swann has a ‘six-point’ plan to help teammates counter sweltering Lankan conditions

London: England off spinner Graeme Swann has his own survival guide to help him, and his team mates counter the scorching heat in Sri Lanka while they prepare for the first Test match.

Swann’s survival six-point plan includes laughing around with teammates, eating well nourished food, playing X-box with teammates, staying in touch with family, watching their favorite football matches and exploring Lankan.

“We play Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 all the time on the Xbox. We`re in teams — Broady and me against Bres and Jimmy Anderson. Broady`s the best, so I nabbed him as my partner,” Swann writes in his column for the Sun.

“Some of the lads play the FIFA football game. I`m the world`s worst but I was playing Bres and secretly passed the console to Finny, who is brilliant,” he added.

“We`re encouraged to rest and not spend much extra time in the sun. But I like sightseeing and exploring local culture. Wandering the streets can be fun but absolutely manic as everyone loves cricket,” he added.
