London: England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) chairman Colin Graves has firmly insisted that the Alastair Cook-led side will regain the Ashes title by defeating Australia this summer.
The hosts claimed a 169-run win over the Michael Clarke-led side last week and head into the second encounter at Lord's on Thursday with a 1-0 lead in the five-match series.
Graves said that he firmly believes England would win the series, adding that they have a fantastic squad and the right coaching team, the BBC reported.
The ECB chief added that although it is not going to be easy, England are in the right place and are up for the battle in the forthcoming matches.
England are seeking to avenge the 5-0 Ashes whitewash incurred against their traditional rivals down under in the 2013-14 series.
