New Delhi: David Warner, the bad boy of Australian cricket has been doing all that he can for an image makeover of late. The left-hander was seen posing together with Joe Root, as a part of a drinking session with Australia post the final Ashes Test in the English dressing room.

In 2013, Warner had thrown a punch at Root at the Walkabout Bar in Birmingham, post which he was suspended by the board for few matches.

The aggressive left-hander even though tried to explain why he did so in an interview in July, Root wasn't convinced as he said, “Disappointing to have my character questioned - those who know me realise how ridiculous Warner’s excuse for hitting me sounds but that’s his choice to try and justify his actions.”

Warner was heavily criticised for that incident and since then, the equation between the two had been talked a lot.

The duo however seems to have buried the past as they posed together soon after Australia won by an innings and 46 runs at The Kia Oval on Sunday.

In reply, Warner reshared Root's Tweet and praised England for their good show in the series.

Cricket Australia rewarded Warner for his calm attitude right throughout Ashes 2015, by apppointing him as Steven Smith's deputy in Tests.

Root, on the other hand, finished as England’s top scorer in the series with 460 runs at an average of 57.
